Sweet & Sealous
An AR adventure played inside a real inflatable boat, collecting cakes and catching seals on the water.
Sweet & Sealous is an AR game that sends guests on a fantasy adventure across the water. We built it in Building Virtual Worlds on a team of five, two of us programming.
The concept
Guests play from inside a real inflatable boat, which grounds the AR experience in something physical that rocks and sways beneath you. The goal is to collect as many cakes as possible while using a lollipop to catch seals, which become the fuel that accelerates the boat across the water. Pairing the AR visuals with the actual boat makes the fantasy feel tangible.
My role
As one of the team's two programmers, I worked on the visual effects in Unity.
